Why every role shows its salary
Since 2023 every role on this site lists its band. Here is what changed for candidates, for us and for the people already here.

In 2023 we decided that every role we post would show its salary band. Not a range so wide it means nothing, but the band for the level, the same one everyone at that level is paid inside.
What changed for candidates
People apply knowing what the job pays, so nobody spends three rounds on a role they cannot afford to take. Our first calls got shorter and better. We talk about the work, not about numbers.
What changed for us
Publishing bands forced us to fix them. We found eleven people paid below the band for their level and raised all of them the same month. It cost more than we planned. It would have cost more to leave it.
What did not change
We still do not negotiate. Your level sets your band, and your place in it depends on experience. If you think we got your level wrong, tell us, and we will look again with the hiring manager.
