Every September all 140 of us meet in one place for three days. This year it was Lisbon. Here is how it went.
Every September the whole company meets for three days. This year 138 of us made it to Lisbon, and two joined by video from parental leave.
Getting there
We booked everything in Vandra, the same way our customers do. 121 people flew, 17 took the train from Madrid and Seville, and one person drove from Milan with a van full of printed trip guides.
The three days
Day one was the company plan for next year, in one room, with questions from anyone. Day two was for teams, and day three had no agenda at all. Most people went to the sea.
What we learned
The planner handled 138 guests well. The dietary notes did not, and three people got the wrong lunch. The fix shipped two weeks later. Next year we go north.
